Okay... I am anemic, if my iron doesn't get up, does that mean they cannot do a c-section? and also I'm 31 weeks and thought that month 8 didn' tstart til next week, then I read weeks 31-34 so which is it?

No it means they will give you a blood transfusion if you need to have a C-Section. Have you started Iron Tablets?

i've just found out im anemic n im worrying a lil bit.. does this harm my baby??

I am anemic too. I was on the iron tablets for about 2-3 weeks before my blood count started going up. I feel less tired now so they do help. The doctor told me that the baby will get what it needs its the mom who loses the nutrients. As far months i guess your 8th month is 32-36 weeks if you go by a 4 week month but there is always confusion around this so I guess you could say you are there!

I'm in my 36th week of pregnancy with my second baby, and this time around my iron has been low also. This has stayed that way for almost a month, and I've been on the iron tablets also, but low iron is very common in pregnancy, and most likely (at least in my case) if you haven't had a problem with it before you were pregnant, it will be alright again afterwards.

how do they find out if your blood iron is low or not, through a blood test?
