MASTERCARD WEDDING? You got to love this guy. This is a true story about a recent wedding that took place at Clemson University. It was in the local newspaper and even Jay Leno mentioned it. It was a huge wedding with about 300 guests. After the wedding, at the reception, the groom got up on stage with a microphone to talk to the crowd He said he wanted to thank everyone for coming, many from long distances, to support them at their wedding. He especially wanted to thank the bride's and his family and to thank his new father-in-law for providing such a lavish reception. As a token of his deep appreciation he said he wanted to give everyone a special gift just from him. So taped to the bottom of everyone's chair, including the wedding party was an envelope. He said this was his gift to everyone, and asked them to open their envelope. Inside each manila envelope was an 8x10 glossy of his bride having s_x with the best man. The groom had gotten suspicious of them weeks earlier and had hired a private detective to tail them. After just standing there, just watching the guests' reactions for a couple of minutes, he turned to the best man and said, "F--- you!" Then he turned to his bride and said, "F--- you!" Then he turned to the dumbfounded crowd and said, "I'm outta here." He had the marriage annulled first thing in the morning. While most people would have canceled the wedding immediately after finding out about the affair, this guy goes through with the charade, as if nothing were wrong. His revenge--making the bride's parents pay over $32,000 for a 300 guest wedding and reception, and best of all, trashing the bride's and best man's reputations in front of 300 friends and family members. This guy has b___s the size of church bells. Do you think we might get a MasterCard "priceless" commercial out of this? Elegant wedding reception for 300 family members and friends: $32,000. Wedding photographs commemorating the Occasion: $3,000 Deluxe two week honeymoon accommodations in Maui: $8,500 The look on everyone's face when they see the 8x10 glossy of the bride humping the best man: Priceless There are some things money can't buy, for everything else there's MASTERCARD!

HAHAHAHA that is great!!! My ex husband lives about 5mi from Clemson.. they aren't the brightest bunch in all of SC LOL. Ashley, I'm so excited for you and your hubby, you must be sooooo happy!!! Yes, I'm happy about my dog being placed and my son doesn't seem too upset about it because he knows he went to a good home. Plus, my stepfather bought my son his Halloween Costume today for $40 and I haven't gotten him out of it yet lol. So, he's got other things on his mind tonight. Inuk-- Glad to put a face to the name, your piczo page came out nice. Candle has been moving all over the place today and sometimes grinding her head(?) into my bladder. Tan-- thanks for making another post.

staci - September 19

WOW! that is crazy stuff!!! Thanks tan, I needed a good read lol! January what kind of costume did ds get? We are getting a transformer costume for ds. He is so obsessed! Oh and the head grinding, yeah! It's a weird feeling!!! You know something else weird has been going on with me, maybe you are experiencing it too? When laying down with a pillow between my legs, If I try to close my legs it feels like there is resistance(right in the pelvic opening area) and that there is a sponge in there (sorry best way to describe it) So anyway, I think it's her head! It feels sooooo weird! Does any of that sound familiar to any of you? If not try it and see if it happens to you too. So although my appt went well, I am very dissappointed in the dr I had this time and last. She is nice enough but is in and out like a breeze. I don't have time to ask her questions and she didn't measure me again. Dh and I have been measuring me ourselves and it seems I am still about 2 1/2 -3 wks bigger. Anyway, maybe next appt will be better? I have a brand new dr. to the practice so maybe she will be more attentive? Especially since it's my actual dr.s daugher ;) (oh, the place I go has about 4 drs and 2 midwives, so we have to see everyone there atleast one time while pg incase you got confused-so the lady i've seen the past few times is not my actual dr.) And you know what? Pregnancy brain!!! Did i even tell you all about my appt? I so don't feel like going to the last thread and looking it up lol! ( I write on about 3 other threads and can't remember who I told!) It went ok. She said my glucose test was perfect, bp was perfect, Graci sounded perfect (all her words, and mind you they were quick, blah!), wt gain was perfect (2lbs) so i'm up to 20lbs now. Very proud may I add! Is everyone doing ok?

melissap - September 20

hi ladies..do you mind if I join your thread. I posted on the SOP board and 1st trimester...then I went back to work and just kinda looked in once in awhile. I am due Nov.5-11th with a surprise. This will be #3. Just the normal tired and heartburn. The wedding story was hilarious.

January - September 20

Good morning all. I've been up since 630. Normally I don't get up to get my son off to school til 730 but I had to get up to pee and my son was already awake. So, I got him some breakfast and then I cleaned out my refridgerator.. took all the shelves out and scrubbed everything!! It's only 830 and I've done so much lol. Now I can be lazy for the rest of the day.. woo hoo! I'm sure I'll find something else to get into though lol. Staci-- My is going to be a zombie skeleton.. don't ask why, cuz I don't know lol. About what you were mentioning about the pillow.. I don't know about the pillow because I haven't slept with one between the legs in a couple of months now.. BUT, I think I know exactly what you are talking about. When I am laying on my back and I go to roll over or get out of bed, when I put my legs together, my pelvis/hips ache and it feels like there is something between my legs. Sound familiar? At my last appt, I too am still measuring 2wks ahead. No one seems concerned and they are actually pleased considering I've done nothing but lose weight this entire pregnancy. Candle seems to be growing right on target. I have another ultrasound Oct. 2nd and I can't wait to see how much they estimate her to weigh then. At my 28wk ultrasound they said 2lbs 13oz... just 3oz shy of 3lbs.. not bad. My son was only 6lbs 11oz, so I'm not really expecting a big baby anyway. Well, I guess I'll go look around and see what else I can clean lol. Still avoiding cleaning my bedroom at all costs lol. That will be last! I still need to get those three huge tubs of clothes across the street to my grandmother's bas____nt so I can get that 4 foot wide wardrobe closet. THEN, I can go through my room and clean it and make it look like the rest of the house lol. I think I'm going to make the baby bottle snow globes today for my baby shower. Saturday my grandmother is going to be gone all day to an afternoon wedding.. so today and tomorrow are really the only days we have to get things organized.. I may even have to start some of the food friday evening. Ahhhh never a dull moment!

January - September 20

Oops.. and Hi Melissa.. welcome!

inuk-mama - September 20

Morning! And welcome Melissa! :) Tan how exciting that you guys are coming up to Canada tomorrow! :) Hope you have a fantastic trip! Tell us all about it when you get back! January, I can't believe the energy you've got! Cleaning at 6:30am!??? I wish! Good luck with the baby bottle snow globes! Post a pic on piczo when you are all finished! I'd love to see what they look like! Well my sciatic nerve was acting up really bad last night so DH ma__saged it after I had a hot bath, he pushed really hard right where it hurt and I could feel the pain down my leg but after he was done, it felt great! I didn't even limp around afterwards! DH and I read the Mastercard post last night and laughed our heads off!! Oh and the best part of today so far...I WORE HEELS FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS PREGNANCY!!!!!!! Seriously, I've ever been able to wear them while pregnant and I tried them on this morning and they felt great! So I wore them to work, They're under my desk right now, but just knowing that I can still wear them comfortably puts a smile on my face! ;)

angie m - September 20

Tan that was too funny! Loved it. That is neat that you and hubby are going to Canada. I hope you have a great time. January I am glad that your son is doing ok with Bear being gone. That is cool that he already has is costume. My hubby and I have decided we really aren't into the whole tricker treating thing or the dressing up in costumes thing so we are just going to take the kids out and let me pick out some candy and then let them pick out a movie and have some pizza on Halloween. The kids usually just start complaining after like 5 houses anyways so I think for our family it will work out much better to just stay at home and have family time. Staci I tried putting the pillow between my legs and closed my legs I got that same feeling you were describing, very strange. LOL I am glad I am not the only one suffering from pregnancy brain. That is great that you have only gained 20lbs so far. I am up 29lbs now : (. Glad all is going well with you and with Graci. WELCOME Melissa! How exciting that you are not finding out the s_x tell the baby is born. That is the way that my hubby would have liked it but I really wanted to know. So I got to find out and then I gave our little girl the name that my hubby really really wanted her to have. So how old are your other 2 little ones? Boy's girls? Inuk you are to funny with your high heals. I didn't even where them before I was pregnant except on very special occasions. I am more of a sneaker and flip flop kinda girl. But that is so neat that you are able to wear them still and not fall over as I am sure I would if I even attempted it. That is so sweet of your hubby. Mine would do it for me but he gets excited to easily and I am in no mood for that, ever. But I do take a nice hot bath every night, if I don't my legs get all crawly and icky feeling. Kinda like what they describe RLS to feel like. So I slept so good last night. Not sure why but I am very happy about it. But it is a lot harder to get up when you are sleeping so good. And Karisma has been getting the hiccups more often now, like 2-3 times a day. It is so cute! Anyone feel like they are so excited to have there little one in there arms but so scared at the same time? Like will I really be able to take care of this little person, will I have everything I need, what if something goes wrong and I don't now what to do. I now I have done it 3 times before but I am still starting to get a little nervous feeling.

Ashley86 - September 20

Hey girls! Yay...well I have an actual computer now!! Well kinda...I connected my laptop to a moniter that a friend gave me and changed the CRT over (the signal that tells the computer to not use the regular moniter) and the internet is basically bootlegging off of someone else that didn't secure their wireless network...so sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't...we're ordering Xanadoo...so hope that works decently enough.... It's been since LAST September that I've used my PC laptop so I'm enjoying the hell out of exploring old pics and such. We're probably going to go tonight after DH gets off of work to put my computer in the shop...but maybe not...really not necessary so long as I have a moniter lmao...but it's something I need to get fixed I guess...just not looking forward to how pricy it's gonna be! I'm glad the hard drive is still operating fine...that would have sucked if that got screwed up too (the screen broke when it was closed and I accidently lightly stepped on it stepping out of bed to run to the bathroom one morning so we weren't sure just how much damage was done.) And then after I got it turned on I couldn't remember the pa__sword for the life of me! My hint was "fairly odd" so I knew it was something relating to Fairly Oddparents...I was typing everything related and could NOT for the life of me figure it out...after all day of racking my brain I finally Wiki'd Fairly Oddparents on my phone and the minute I saw the name of the town the character lives in (Dimmsdale) I remembered choosing it...but now it's changed to something I won't forget. The fact that I even chose a cartoon related pa__sword has to tell you somethin eh? lmao...my child and I will be able to at least agree on TV...if I let them even watch much of it...I really am still not sure how much TV I plan to let my son to watch...don't want a kid that sits in the house ALL day watching TV and playing video games...I want him to know the joy of bike riding and rollerblading and playing catch or hide and seek and making real friendships when they get older. Just because mommy's a computer addict doesn't mean I want our son to be lmao. So yea DH is lucky I'm mechanically inclined...because he is by no means Mr Fix It...it's so cute and I love knowing I'm needed...he tried putting a DVD shelf together and he's doing ok...but I've had to make a few corrections. I love being home I can't even say that often enough. Oh and that flu shot btw...it may be outdated...but I have an issue of Parents from November of last year...and it said that women who get flu vaccine in the last trimester, that the baby is better protected from the flu vaccine for the first 6 months of their life...but you may want to ask your OB...because like I said that's just something I read...who knows how true it is. Oh and January sooo glad Bear found a good home and even gladder that DS is handling it well. My mother's boyfriend (well ex now) got Phoenix a Halloween skeleton costume (basically a black outfit with white bones) for my shower.. and it was size 0-3 months...and I was like "Heh that's great but when you 'spect he'll wear it?" I had to remind him that DS won't be born til a month AFTER Halloween...and for his first Halloween he won't be fitting 0-3 months anymore...we'll just exchange it for the proper size. So glad they'll be here in time for Christmas though! Yay! I know this is so white trash of me...but I've always loved WalMart's little velveteen Christmas clothes...lmao...the mini tuxes and suspender outfits and such...lmao...I love cheap thrills...but don't take it that I am implying that Walmart is white trash...I just meant for me to get those flimsily made outfits...but I've been dying to have a kid almost just to put that outfit on them...no others...just the Christmas red and green. Their's also an ornament we saw this last weekend in Houston that we plan to get that's blue and it's baby's first christmas and REALLY cute...it's this Christmas store on the Kemah boardwalk...well anywho...and January...it's funny I've been home for 3 full days now...and for some reason I just can't bring myself to clean my bedroom! The ENTIRE REST OF THE HOUSE IS SPOTLESS! I keep coming up with more important things to do like...scrub the toilet and the floors...and vacuum again...and sweeping out between the refrigerator and counter...and today I planned my big thing to be to clean out the refrigerator...I've already cleared all the old food out now I just need to thoroughly scrub it down. And to think...I didn't think nesting had hit yet lmao! Apparently it was as I thought...only works on the house that needs to be nested for the baby? We're gonna sneak back down to Houston this weekend and do a bit more baby shopping and pick of the rest of the stuff that didn't make the first trip. The playpen, the stroller, the bouncy seat..basically the bigger stuff...(I made sure to at least grab the carseat...as I told DH...carseat must always be with me...which means it will be also making the trip down)...I don't know when my mom plans to get the crib but DH already said he plans to pay someone to put it together for him because as he said he doesn't trust putting the baby in anything he would put together....lmao...not sure my crib-putting-together abilities are up to par either lmao. Anywho...gonna get some cleaning done...and maybe try to add that pic to Piczo if my connection will allow it before it cuts off...tty all later :)

inuk-mama - September 20

So you guys, I just had to share this with you! Maybe a great baby present for our new ones, or even christmas present? As you all know, I work at a radio station and one of the perks in sometimes free stuff, well today we got the mail and there was a parcel for me. Which is odd sine I never get anything! :( So I opened it up thinking it was just going to be more work, but it wasn't!! IT was a "name your tune" personalized c.d for our son Dustin!!!!!! It has about 14 songs on it, all like if you're happy and you know it, wheels on the bus....the list goes on! And over the course of these songs they say Dustin's name in the songs about 80 times!!! It is really cool! So I looked on their website and found they do personalized blankets and a bunch of other things! It's a really cool thing! So the website is nyt (at symbol) dot ca It's very neat and I think I'm gonna order a baby blanket for Regan. They have one with a zebra on it which will match her bedding perfectly! ;)

inuk-mama - September 20

oops! I am horrible! The website is nyt dot ca

melissap - September 20

I have two boys ages 5 and 3. My oldest just started school last week. I live in Nova Scotia Canada and as of when I had my 2nd they will not tell you the s_x of the baby at your u/s. I had another at 28 weeks with the ob and I could have asked but DH is adamant that we not find out. I didn't know with the boys either. This time it i sdriving me nuts as I thought I was done after my 3 year old and sold most of my stuff. This is definitley it so I have to buy clothes. Angie.. don't feel bad about 29 I think I am just about at the 40lb mark. I gained 70 with my 1st and 18 with my second. INuk that sounds cool about a personal cd and blanket..is it Canadian??

angie m - September 20

Inuk my mom got CD's with really cute songs on them with the kids names in the songs when she was in Las Vegas 3 years ago. That was before I had my youngest little guy and of course before this one so I think I might get my 2 little one's a cd of there own too. Thank you so much for sharing. Mellisa THANK YOU for sharing you weight gain. I gained 63lbs with my second one and it took me a whole year to loose it and I really don't want to have to do that again. Let's hope that our weight gain slows down for the next few weeks : ). I have 3 already, 6 year old son, 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son. This one is a little girl, 2 of each I feel so lucky. But my hubby and I thought we were done after our last too so I had nothing. Thankfully I have been buying a little here and a little there and all I have left to get is some warm pj's, some nice closed bottom gowns, a baby book and a full sized swing. I already have one of those small take along ones that folds up. I hope to get all that with hubby's next pay check and then on to buying the stuff I will need for delivery. I am having a home birth so there are some things that I need to get. So Melissa are you hoping for a little girl this time?

January - September 20

Hi all... I made the snowglobes.. they came out awesome! I'll take a pic like you suggested and post it on piczo. I'll post here again to let you know when it's up. Angie-- I know what you mean about worrying already about the arrival of baby. It's been almost 11yrs for me since I've taken care of a baby.. let alone MY baby. I worry that I won't do things right, she won't like me, etc. I still don't think it's hit me yet that she'll be mine and we'll actually be bringing her home with us from the hospital.. things will never be the same and it will never be just Zach and I again. I also worry about how Zach will be. He's never had to share attention at all. He's the only child, only grandchild, etc.. On another note, I don't blame you about not wanting to take 3 kids out trick or treating. If I could get out of it I would.. we are going to be 36wks the week of halloween.. yikes!! But, my son is almost 11 so his trick or treat years are dwindling and it's his favorite holiday, except Xmas of course :) He loves costumes and dressing up.. he has a ton and wears them for no reason. Ashley-- glad you finally are back on a PC. Funny how nesting works huh? I'm not doing anything as far as a nursery yet. I plan on keeping her in my room, ITS HUGE, for at least 6mo. Then I will buy a crib, decorations, etc for her room. I want to see her personality before I decorate it. So, it's very important for me to get my room in order sooner rather than later since this is where we'll be spending most of our time the first couple of weeks. I just can't bring myself to do it! I still have to get those clothes tubs over to my grandmother's bas____nt but they are so heavy! Once I do that, I can get my wardrobe closet from home depot.. then let the bedroom nesting begin! Iunk--- the CD sounds like a cool idea.. I'm going to have to check into that!

inuk-mama - September 20

Melissa, yes it is Canadian! They are from Scarborough. You live in Nova Scotia? I"m up in Yellowknife, NWT! They won't tell you the s_x or would they if you wanted to know? I know with my first when I was in Alberta, they wouldn't tell me, but with our second and third they gave us the option.
