Im 30 weeks and am pretty sure I havent yet felt braxton hicks tightening. Should I be concerned? (kinda makes me worry if I will go past my due date.... )

If its your first baby I think its completely normal. I know of alot of people who dont feel anything with their first baby until they go into labor. I'm 38 weeks pregnant with my first baby and just about a week ago my braxton hicks started..so i dont think you should worry. The more kids you have, the earlier the braxton hicks start

I never had any braxton hicks with my first baby. With this pregnancy I've had them since 18 weeks. Sometimes it's sort of disturbing. I've noticed that the more I'm out in the heat or the more physical activity I do, the more likely I am to have them.

thanks everyone, I am glad I am not alone. I said to my doula last night that I am afraid maybe I will never go into labor since my uterus doesnt appear to be "practicing".. (Of course I realize hes gotta come out sometime, but its hard to picture it as it is, being a first time mom, much less with no braxton hicks! ). anyone else have this experience, I wonder why? ---------------------------------- i thought I felt them for a few times in the first trimester, or some sort of tightening at least - but nothing since about 12 weeks...
