Anterior Placenta Burning Getting Worried

I was told when I had my u/s at 20 weeks that I had an anterior placenta. Meaning the placenta is in the front of my uterus somewhere close to my belly button. I have been having a lot of burning in that area and I am getting a little worried. I still feel my little girl moving around, but just not as much. I am almost 39 weeks so I assumed it was from her getting bigger. I am worried something is wrong and my doctor blows it off as if nothing is wrong. I feel like I can not talk to him about anything. I have not had an u/s since 20 weeks, which was actually 19 weeks one day to be exact. I want another one before I deliver. I am getting so mad, I feel like if I do not have this baby something is going to go wrong. I can not take it any longer. My due date according to ultrasound is May 31st, but the doctor said he would not induce me until after June 2nd because that is my due date according to LMP, which I was not even sure of. Does anyone else experience that burning sensation? Sometimes it is almost unbearable.

Why do you want another u/s? It's not a normal practice to get one before you deliver and lots of doctors won't give one unless they feel that there is a reason. If you are still feeling your baby moving but not as much, it's because she is bigger and can't make such drastic movements. Seems that your doctor is doing the norm by not inducing until after your due date, even if it is only by 2 days. Try and relax and enjoy being alone...cause you won't be for long!! ;o)

I am worried because the baby has measured large for term at my two previous ultrasounds and the doctor said I had a very small pelvis. I have also had some blood pressure issues and a lot of swelling. I have been losing weight instead of gaining even though I eat as much as I want to. I am just worried about the baby. I want know she is okay. I know it is only a few extra days, but I really do not know if I can take it. I am about to go crazy.

Thank you. I am hoping everything is okay. Maybe the baby is just scratching or stretching me and causing the burning? I am feeling her move so I know she must be okay. I have to go back to the doctor on Wednesday, and I am going to ask him then. Maybe he will not be in such a hurry this week.

if you are not feeling the baby move around alot then you need to be monitered. they cannot refuse you . you have the right and you pay them. i would go to the er, and tell them you dont feel the baby move and they will put you on the monitor to see.

I am feeling her move, just not as much. Everyone tells me it is because she is running out of room. I don't want to go to the emergency room for nothing. I am afraid my insurance will not cover it because I am on medicaid.
