High blood pressure during pregnancy is quite common, and usually goes away after the baby is born. It used to be serious, but with medical monitoring and stuff nowadays, it's not really too big a deal anymore. I read just today that 1 in 10 women who are pregnant develop it. I'm 37 weeks, and at my prenatal appointment today I had high blood pressure for the first time. I have to go to the hospital for a non-stress test tomorrow. Since you're not real close to your due date, you could be put on bed rest if it's severe. My guess is that they'll keep monitoring you, and I think that if it's consistantly high, they'll probably want to schedule an induction or c-section when you get closer to your due date. Here's a link for you to check out.... http://www.allaboutmoms.com/preeclampsia.htm
