Arm Numbness

I am 37 weeks and am having hand and arm numbness. Initially I thought it was because I was sleeping funny on my side. Now, I am thinking it is pregnancy induced carpal tunnel. However, it is from my elbow down and seems to be present all day. This has been going on for about 3-4 days. I am going to the obgyn on Thurs. I am a bit worried about it. Anyone have any insight?

let me know how it goes. Mine started at 37 weeks and now I'm 38 weeks.

I get that a lot. I find it happens more when I sleep. I think it may be from the position of the baby, perhaps it he/she may be lying on a nerve or somthing. Check with the doc!~

I had numbness in three of my fingers for about six weeks until I had my daughter. Then it lasted for a week or two after she was born. I talked to my doctor about it and he said it was very normal and will go away on it's own.

I am just 26 weeks....I have had carpal tunnel for about 8 or 9 weeks already (had it 10 years ago) it is AWFUL! There isnt too much you can do to alleviate it. Try icing them before you go to bed, when mine first flared up, that helped a bit! I

I just looked it up on a web site. It temporary carpal tunnel and goes away with delivery. It has to do with tissues swelling, and doesn't seem to be too abnormal.

also ... watch those tingling fingers cuz it can be a sign of your blood pressure going silly. Mine do that when my blood pressure gets to high OR low
