I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow with my first, I was 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced a week ago, not sure where I am now, maybe the same.. anyway I keep waiting for the baby to drop, but I don't think she has. Every morning I wake up and try to feel her head and look at my belly in the mirror and to tell you the truth I'm just not sure what I'm looking for.. can someone describe to me how to know whether baby has dropped? I do kind of feel pressure in my va___a sometimes but then it goes away..

The doctor told me that the baby has started to drop, about an inch ...he measured my belly, and asked if I could breath easier. I can't tell that the baby has dropped, but I do feel a little more pressure in my pelvic area in the last coupkle of days.

At 37 weeks I felt the baby drop overnight. I woke up with pressure in my pelvis and my back and hips have ached ever since. I was already carrying low so the shape of my belly didn't change much
