Baby Less Active When Exposed To More Light

I know this sounds silly and could very well be coincidence but I'll just throw it out there anyway... I am 35 wks along now and baby boy is still VERY very active...pushing, squirming and stretching constantly...I have gotten into this habit that whenever I am sitting down or walking around the house I lift up my shirt or sweater so that I can watch him move...and instantly he becomes still and less active...could it be the stimulation/fascination with the exposure to more light? Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

Mine does EXACTLY the same thing, and I also think its the light or the cold or something... or its really shy, LOL! I've started just pulling my shirt tight over the belly when I want to watch the kicking, since lifting it up has the opposite effect.

Hey mamagoose...it looks like were the only ones that have noticed this behaviour!! or the only ones whose babies react this way to light...lol

My little girl is horribly active too....and usually when she starts for me..she won't stop, but EVERY time I have someone hurry up and come over, even my boyfriend, she stops! I think she IS shy.lol. at least that's what I tell everyone that doesnt believe that you can see her move!!!

My baby does the same thing for when i want someone to feel him move. everytime i call someone over he would stop and lay perfectly still if he is touched. I always thought it was the heat from their hand.
