Hello! I am in my 2 nd trimester, and yes I have cravings and it was ice cream and cereal. And I couldn't eat salad or spagetti. Yes you will get morning sickness, it might happen often, I had mostly night sicknesses after I ate my food, but that's okay because it goes away after awhile. don't worry everything is normal so far, GOOD LUCK! And I dont know what I am having yet.

Hi ! I'm 26 weeks pregnant and we're expecting a boy. I had morning sickness the first trimester and craved olives and pickled onions ! There's nothing that I couldn't eat :)))

Congradulations! I'm not sure cravings are indicitive of s_x, but I am having a boy and here were mine: watermelon, deviled eggs, milk, goats milk cheese, green apples (as well as apple sauce, apple juice, apple cider and apple pie.)
More recently I have craved plums, pineapple, yogurt, milk (and just creamy things in general), still the apple stuff though not as much, and pesto.

Oh Lordy, for the first month it was roast beef; and it couldn't be the cheap stuff, either; it had to be Black Angus from Wal-Mart's deli counter. Around the end of the first trimester, ravings shifted towards anything hot and spicy - peppers right out of the jar, Taco Bell sauce packets, salsa...we're expecting a girl and I'm expecting her to shoot out of me wearing a sombrero and speaking fluent Spanish! I had to hear from one person too many that, "Morning sickness will come, just you wait." and here at 36 weeks, I'm still waiting so be encouraged!

I would have to say that during my first and second trimesters it was all about egg salad sandwiches.. and then now that im in my last trimester it's all about ice cream. Im having a girl may 4th.. I HAVE 15 DAYS TO GO !!

Jamie - April 19th, 2005 3:04 AM

I'm having a girl; I crave anything and everything strawberry flavored - esp. strawberry flavored ice cream. I can't get enough of it! Strawberry candy, fresh strawberries, strawberry Pop-tarts - you name it, I want it! As far as morning sickness - I had a bit of that, but it wasn't too bad - but eggs would set me off - I couldn't even smell them, or I'd be running to the bathroom.

I am 38 weeks and Im having a girl..and I craved anything hot and spicy at first and then it was Subway. I use to eat subway twice a day, it got so bad the people would have my sandwhich started before I even walked in. I would put tons of banana peppers on it and southwest sauce! HOT! But I loved it, I also crave a lot of fruit.

eyebeeablessing2u - April 19th, 2005 10:55 AM

Sour candies had to be Maynards sour wine gums.... and its a boy... morning sickness from week 7 to week 25 and every now and then still at 29 weeks....can't eat, fries, potatoes or pasta..

Joan - April 19th, 2005 12:47 PM

Currently 39 weeks and I'm having a boy. I craved shell fish for some weird reason. Luckily I can't afford to eat it that much but I did have surf and turf on my anniversary and New Years Eve. I also have craved Arby's a lot. I had to stop eating when my blood pressure went up. I had trouble eating chicken for awhile. No morning sickness but I did have first trimester migraines.

Toya - April 19th, 2005 1:12 PM

I craved oranges and anything sour...I am having a girl and am 37 weeks.

Kymmi - April 19th, 2005 2:17 PM

My goodness,,,,,seven weeks!!!! Congratulations to you first of all~ I just can't imagine going back,,,,, I'm 37 weeks now and so glad I am almost done! I read somewhere (an old wives tale) that when you are pregnant w/ a girl you will eat mostly fruits / sweets and when it's a boy you generally eat more "meaty" foods and lean toward the salty / spicy / soury foods. But, hey,,,,,it's just an old wives tale. Plus, my "cravings" have changed throughout the pregnancy also. I couldn't get enough spicy foods. I have eaten a TON of salsa,,,, and I can't get enough sausage & sourkraut. Oh and it's a boy!! But in the beginning I was a little quesy, but not really "sick", y'know? Of course, it just varies upon each person and their own chemical makeup.

II think it realkly deoends on the person. I am 27 w pregnant and the techs cannot tell what I am having what I am having because the baby keeps its legs closed. But with my 2yo daughter I craved anythinhg sweet which was abnormal for me since I really donnot eat sweets and I did not have any morning sickness what so ever. I could not eat meat either. She was an easy pregnancy. My husband was sick as a dog though. With this one, I have been nauscious ever since day one on and off throughout the day. I crave anything salty and sour and occasionally watermelon. I love deli meat and steak but nothing creamy (like ranch dressing or milk shakes). Alot of my friends who have boys think its a boy because my pregnancy symptoms match theirs. So Good Luck and bets wishes. Enjoy your pregnancy as best you can because it will be over before you know it!!
