Im almost due and have had TERRIBLE back pains especially when i walk. I cant tell if its because i am almost in labor or i have pulled something. It startes in the neck and is really sore by my butt.

it could be that the baby is laying in a position where it puts all its pressure on your back but also it could be the start of labour

Here's what's in the book I got from my doctor. The signs of labor: - Contractions that come at regular, increasingly shorter intervals and are more and more painful. - Persistent lower back pain, especially when accompanied by rhythmic crampy premenstrual feeling. - The water breaks. - Diarrhea because the body purges itself in preparation for labor. - The appearance of a brown- or blood-tinged mucus discharge usually means labor is a few days or weeks away. Hope that helps!
