Hey Ladies, I was hoping you could help me. I'm a few days over 38 weeks and for the past two days I have been having big globs of yellow discharge when I wipe. It's usually REALLY bad when I wake up in the morning. It doesn't have a smell at all so I'm guessing it's not an infection. But is this normal?? Should I be worried? I have a doctor's appt. on wednesday and will bring it up to her than, but is it something I should try to contact them before hand??? Please help?!

Sounds to me like you're pa__sing your mucus plug. I pa__sed mine over the course of about a week and a half. Keep an eye out for the bloody show, it'll be pretty much the same, just tinged red. Currently, I'm 39 weeks, dialated 3cm, cervix 80% effaced. Due on Monday!

Is it possible to have the bloody show first? Cause I was just at the hospital on Thursday for bleeding and the doctor said it was probably my plug. And the next morning is when I started having the yellow discharge. How far along were you when you lost yours?

From what I understand, the MP can regenerate itself. I lost mine a couple of weeks ago, but over the past three days, I've been having gobs of it coming out again. My doc. stretched my membranes on Weds, so I think she stirred things up.

I lost my mucus plug weeks ago too, but also am getting the yellow discharge again... no smell. It looks just like the mucus plug did. Will tell doctor on my next appt.
