is it normal to be always 100/60 when it should be 120/80... the nurse said it was normal for me since i'm always in that range but i was wondering if there is a posibility for me to get low blood pressure during labor

I am like you, I have always had low blood pressure. My doctor says its fine. A lot better than high blood pressure. Mine is lower than yours and I have never had any problems. I asked if it would be a problem during labor and my doc said no. If your bp has always been low and the doc told you not to worry I would not worry. 120/80 is average, like a 7.5lb baby, just an average, not a rule. We are all different

Mine is usually 100/60 or 90/60 and the nurse always tells me that is good.

i used to be 120/70 or somewhere in that range...and since i've been preg. it's been lower...sometimes 100/60, sometimes 95/50...it's confusing to me, the dr. says it's okay though.

My dr told me that you can expect it to be lower because the blood has to pump that much harder when you are pregnant. Mine is also low. Are any of you experiencing dizziness because of it? I am and my doctor said that is also normal because of the low blood pressure and he would really only be concerned if it was high.
