I was just curious as to how soon after birth you can start br___t pumping for milk storage? How soon afterwards can you start combining br___t and bottle for babies feedings? Also, If you have a double electric pump (like the medela pump in style)....how many times per day and how often can you pump fairly soon after having birth?

It really all depends on you. You would want to wait until your milk come in to start pumping to store milk. THe first day or so it is just clostrurum (sp). Then you can do it whenever you want. I didnt' pump much the first six weeks as I was always home with my dd. Once I went back to work, I pumped twice a day (I had the double pump, pump in style) then I fed my dd in the morning when we got up and after work and then before bed and sometimes at lunch if she was up and hungry. I pumped one 8 ox bottle at a pumping. or two 4 oz bottles. Ussually 4 oz each side but sometimes one side was fuller than the other and I got more form it than the other. My dd was content to nurse in teh am and when I was at home and then just took two 8 oz bottles when I was at work. My mom fed my dd her first bottle. She was about three or four weeks old. THey say just dont do it while your baby is learning to nurse but once you two have mastered it, then you can introduce a bottle. I learned it is best to try when he or she is hungry but not too hungry that they do not want to try anything new. Also have someone else to feed them the first time...cause my dd knew when it was me and she knew I would nurse her. Good luck and just be patient.
