Bright Red Drop Of Blood At 35 5 Weeks

Hi...I'm hoping someone has had a similar situation and can make me feel better about this! I had a cervix check on Monday and today I noticed an eraser sized amount of bright red blood when I wiped. I've had a cervix check before but have never spotted from it. Of course the Drs office is telling me that it's "probably" from the exam and not to worry blah blah... I'm just having a hard time getting comfortable with it. I haven't spotted again today. Just the one time. It was just so red! Oh and I've used my doppler and the babys heart rate is fine and no cramping or contractions either...... Am I being silly? I just need some reassurance. Thanks to anyone ;)

It's fine.. something similiar happened to me about 2wks ago. I had an appt the next day anyway and they checked me out and couldn't find a reason for it. The farther along you get, the more blood flow to the cervix and just straining to go to the bathroom and break a blood vessel. They told me to call them immediately if I saw it again, my water broke, or I was having timable contractions.

Ditto to everything January just said. I had a bright red spotting incident over the weekend, about the size of a quarter in my underpants. I'm doing fine today.

Thank you guys... I haven't had any more spotting but as I'm sure both of you know ---- at this stage we turn into like these mother hens! Always worried. I do appreciate your responses. My husband was pretty cracked up that I'm more concerned w/ responses that I get here than what my own Dr. says! I told him that my Dr isn't in his 3rd trimester. That I trust the ladies who have been there! Anyway, thanks again ;)
