LIKE GIVE ME A FREAKIN CLUE ON HOW TO FIX IT LADY!!!....seeing my docotor is not helping much...I was wondering if you ladies could give me some ideas! I dont know what I will do if my leg does that again....Thanks so much..and I dont mean to sound mean...so Im sorry if I do?

i'm 31 wks and had issues w/ my legs and hands 2 weeks ago, they would fall asleep while i was sleeping, it was very painful. felt like i was paralyzed. so, i took matters into my own hands and went and found a ma__sage theropist who would work on a pg woman. he worked my shoulders, arms and hands as well as my legs and feet. it was painful but i haven't had issues since. i was told that because we're expanding in size that our bodies adjust in our sleeping patterns. not all adjustments are good and therefore we cause ourselves pain. check out the ma__sage theropist, yes it cost me $65 but it was totally worth it

It's not all bad. Since I have been on bed rest my husband has to do all the cleaning, lundry, grocery shopping, cooking.....you name it. It has made him appreciate how much I go through to keep this house nice and have a full time job. I do cheat every once in a while (don't tell my doc) like yesterday was my husbands birthday so I had my sister help me bake him a Jell-o cake and I had a small piece. I am also keeping a list of all the things I plan on eating after he is born :o) I have a appointment at 11:30 today so I'll let ya know. I just found this web site last night so it's realy cool I can talk to people. Being on bed rest gets old really fast.

Sorry about the leg cramp....you're actually pretty lucky that you got to 31 weeks before you had that happen....I have been dealing with those since around 22 or 23 weeks...in fact, I woke up that way this morning. I have had them so bad that my leg has hurt for 2-3 days afterwards before. I'm sorry this experience is so horrible....when the uncomfortable things come along for me I just try to think about the good parts and what is coming at the end and that it isn't gonna last forever...just having a positive att_tude helps A TON!!! Oh.....by the way....I think Tink said point your toes...but I have always heard to pull your toes toward you- that works for me....also as much as it kills, try to get up and stand on it-putting pressure on it should help it pa__s faster- they do suck though- I know people that wake up at least once a night with them!

xoxticiaxox - February 13

They are horrible!!!! And yeah My list would be 10 pages long back and front by now if I couldnt eat ANY sugar! Dont worry we wont tell your doc tink lol! Dani, Im soooo trying to look at the positive side...but everytime Im done feelings something...another thing happens...its discouraging..but talking to others helps! Im not angyr nemore lol! I cant believe ir 22 weeks oh my I would have gone insane by now....that is some very intense pain!

Want my list girls - I feel the same way! This pregnancy thing is hellish and I hate those woman who say "I love being pregnant - it was the best time in my life" LOL no offense to you girls who feel that way. I am 35 weeks - still throwing up daily! The nausea never ended for me (my mom told me it was the same for her) no joke - puked in the kitchen sink yesterday when I put a dish in the dishwasher. I too am on bed rest this is week 3 for high blood pressure but now everytime I go into the doctor it is perfect but they told me I still need to do nothing but lay on my left side. I am so sick of TV but also sick of people telling me to take up knitting- like that will help. I also have an underlying bowel condition which has flared up so I have diarreah every day. I can't sleep. I am going insane in my house on bed rest. I had to quit work 8 weeks early. The only cure is delivery!! They said they wouldn't likely let me go full term because of my BP but since it has gotton better on bedrest I fear they will let me go to 40 weeks UGH! another 5 weeks of this? Its straining my husband too and he is trying so hard to do everyhting. I too am crabby, bored and irritable. Oh and my baby is breech so now I am expecting a c-secton unless she turns which knowing my luck won't happen. LOL - Misery loves company so I love this post!!!

Oh and I can't wait to have a big fat drink! Margarita, wine, champagne anything!!! Its going to be the first thing I do when I get home and I don't even drink that much when I wasn't pregnant...and I also want to know how many of us will be pregnat again in a couple of years when the amnesia sets in...probably us all :)

I hear you ladies, I too am 31 weeks, i cant sleep at night. I feel like i must pee 900 times a day and my son loves to use my bladder as a trampoline. The leg cramps are awful. I am ready to have my body back i feel like i have been abducted by alien. I also have a 3 year old that has been sick for the past 3 weeks. So now i have a whiney irratable kid that wants to be held all the time and i have to try to figure out how to hold her without dying lol. I feel so bad when i have to tell her that she is hurting my back. Anybody else having problems tieing thier shoes?? I get out of breath!! Ugh. I am over it. I am tired of being moody and cranky too. i am surprised my hubby hasnt divorced me yet with how moody i have been. Anyboy else get pain in the skin on thier bell when thier baby decides to do a cartwheel?

Hey ladies I am back from my doctor appointment and for once it went great. No new issues and the old issues are starting to look better. My blood pressure is stayig normal, the fluid level is back up to an 11, my blood sugar is still a bit crazy but being on bed rest is the reason for that., but since I have been such a good girl the doc is going to let me ride my excersise bike for 15 minutes twice a day as long as I take it easy and set the tension way low. Never thought I would be so excited to exersice. We also got mesurments and a ruff weight. My little guy is up to 4lbs 10oz. She is still planning on inducing at 36 weeks so I am hoping me puts on a few more oz at least. His lungs seemed to be doing well too. And right now he has the hiccups once again. I swear he gets them 4 or 5 times a day. I go back to the doctor this Friday and if my sugars are ok and my fluid level does not drop back down I will be able to continue the excersice and not have to go on insuline.

are you talking about cramps in your calves??? i read somewhere that is a lack of calcium. i had one a few weeks ago, and went out and bought those calcium chews, and i havent had one since. try increasing your calcuim!!! hope this helps!!!

amybaby2 - February 13

Oh, and by the way, all you first time moms, you will be back for more!!! you forget all the bad things, and will do it all over, because believe me, it is worth all the pain and suffering in the world to bring this wonderful baby into the world!!! i hope that since you have all these problems, you have very happy, satisfied babies that sleep through the night from day one!!! good luck!

crystal74 - February 13

sounds like leg cramps and they are the worst. i have woken up with a few myself and it hurts so bad it makes me cry. then my muscle in my calf is sore for a couple days after. my dr. told me to eat a couple tums before i go to bed. calcium will help prevent those. and my mama always told me to eat lots of bananas to help prevent leg cramps from the pota__sium. but orange juice also has a lot of pota__sium. i hope it gets better for you my dear.i am 38 weeks and since around 30 weeks i have been sick of it too but it'll all be worth it when you see your little one looking in your eyes. i can't wait. sorry it's so tough for you right now. the ma__sage thing sounds good. make sure your stretching too.
