Changing Table Question

Ladies, this may sound odd but I am a bit confused about whether or now I need to purchase a changing pad and covers if I already have a changing table?? I have a changing table attachement to a dresser we bought by Bellini... Any ideas? Thanks!

Well I have a changing table but its a wood top so I am getting a pad. To make it soft for the baby plus washable. I am also getting covers for the pad that I can wash if something gets on them.

I do recommend that you get the pad and covers for your changing table. It will be much more comfortable for your baby and much easier to just throw in the wash when an accidental poop gets all over it. -ld

Thanks, Ladies, so I'll get a pad and two?? covers. Is that enough?

With my first I had a pad w/ 2 covers. I also had those little "lap pads". I would put one of those down on top of the cover. That way if there was an "accident" i could just wash that first without having to was the whole cover. This way I knew for sure I was always going to have something dry to put the baby on!

I had a friend who had the pad, but instead of buying sheets for it she used receiving blankets just in case, she had a lot of those from her showers. Could save money from buying covers for the pads?
