OMG...i dont know what it is about today...but i am so totally losing it. I just had an argument w/ my best friend and godmother of my son over...really nothing...i do blame it mostly on hormones. and then my b/f called me and i just started bawling and saying how i just dont want to be pregnant anymore :-( Im really getting frustrated...REALLY. Its to the point where i dont even want anyone to look at me or talk to me...

Oh Shala, I know what you mean! A couple of weeks ago, I decided that I absolutely did not want to have a baby. I told dh that I wanted to go to the hospital and have them take it out, and then I just wanted to leave it there. (Talk about losing it!) I cried and cried...luckily didn't freak out dh too much. Now it comes in waves...I'm excited about the baby, and then I basically hate the baby's little guts for making me feel so miserable. I wanted baby to come today, because I was feeling excited about him/her, and I don't want to give birth on a day when I don't want him/her. Don't worry about freaking out on people though...they understand the whole hormonal thing. (Although my friends were getting upset with me because I felt like c___p and didn't feel like hanging out...go figure!) This will end though...eventually we won't be pregnant anymore! And I've been told that we won't vividly remember this part of the pregnancy. You can do it. You're allowed to have c___ppy days. Just think of how great it will feel to have that baby out and hold him in your arms, and not have a ginormous belly anymore! Hang in there!

Aww im sorry that youre having a bad day. I just have to say it will get better, and those hormones can do crazy things to a womans brain. Its going to be over soon.. PROMISE! ~Kristin~

Hey Shala, I saw this thread earlier and was going to respond since no one at that time did yet but I got side tracked and started to watch a movie. Don't worry I was in the same boat as you about a week ago and was on a huge rage against anybody regarding the littlest things. I even was bawling my eyes out too and just couldn't get over being upset about everything. I am at the stage of my pregnancy where I am easily annoyed and set off over the littles things. Lets me just say how I was cussing the F-word last night over flipping an egg white omlet the right way and it didn't work. I was making my husbands lunch for Friday and it all just screwed up. I was extreamly p__sed off. I also have been going through the, not wanting anyone to look at me or talk to me. Don't worry it will subside and it may not be until you have the baby but remember that you, your body and the baby are all going through alot and especially at this stage of pregnancy so relax. You know what I found helpful was to open an empty doc_ment and type away about my feeling and just everything that was driving me crazy. I m usually the last person to journal about something but I was too far gone about everthing where I needed to sort a few things out about how I was feeling without hurting anyones feeling. Try that and see if it helps a little.

im feeling a little better today...a little lol. my kiddo is really really active and i think he is transverse...but who knows.

Shala, sometimes if the baby isn't in position to deliver (head down) that could slow the labor process since the head isn't pressing on the cervix. Your doctor has not told you what position your little guy is in yet? If your not feeling kicks at the top of your belly then he might be in breech or transverse position. I hope not though. Let me know.

Shala- Mahagen is right all of what you are feeling is perfectly normal - your hormones are going to be wacky from here on out and even til about 1-2 months postpartum then you kind of even out. I burst in to tear unexpectedly up to 2 months post partum not to scare you more but just be aware of it and it's ok.....it's NORMAL - it sounds like you have a very supportive boyfriend and that is great - Jenice- you too - you are normal - I am only 22 weeks but I have been where you guys are now twice and each time I just had periods of losing it sometimes a little and sometimes a lot - I anticipate being super emotional since my parents are moving from California to Alabama 6 weeks before my due date then my mom will fly back a week before delivery and stay for 2 weeks after....I get a little stressed about her maybe not making it in time but there isn't anything I can do.......I walked into her house the other day and she had already started packing and I just burst into tears - it was awful I am very close to my mom so I can't believe she is moving! Well anyway thanks for letting me get some of my anxiety out.....whew I feel better a little....lol just remember you guys are NORMAL

Mahagen...the kicks are more on the sides...not at the top or bottom.??? and when i have a BH contraction the head and but seem to be sideways?? No my stupid doctor hasnt told me anything like that...iim going to ask them Thur. though. Cors. thanks for the rea__surance...i know its normal...i just feel like im a deranged lunatic sometimes.

Shala - you bet anytime - don't worry it's almost over for you and in my experience I used to say that I couldn't wait to carry the baby on the outside but ..sheesh after a few weeks I realized how good I had it....jenice that feeling about leaving the baby at the hospital I had that a week or two after my ds was born and that is normal too.....it doesn't make you a bad mommy ok? hang in there girls!

Yes definitely say something to your doctor about your concern because if he is transverse or breech they should have taken him this week. Its too dangerous to have a baby in those positions which I know you know that already but if doc would have checked and baby was breech or transverse you would have the option to have a version done where they turn the baby from the outside otherwise they do a csection. Definitely find out next appt.
