Crampy Type Feelings

I'm 32.5 weeks and for the past couple of days I've had pulling type cramps. Yesterday morning I woke up with one in my right side that was actually really quite bad and lasted for about a minute or so. It's kind of like earlier when there were all ligament pains - but is it normal for that to be happening so late?

Could they be Braxton Hicks? Every once in a while I get a crampy feeling that goes away and that's what I attribute it to. i guess if everything else feels good, and your baby continues to feel active I don't think there is much to worry about. You could always check with your doc/nurse.

Lala.. i read your other post about the heaviness in your abdomen.. if the baby has dropped, then it could be the bottom ligaments getting pulled now that, that area is being stretched....

I am also 32.5 weeks and been having these pains for the last two weeks. Then woke up 5 days ago with contractions and thought it was braxton hicks but it went on for 5 hours then stopped. My consultant took me into look at me and monitored the baby for a while. It wasn’t Braxton hicks but false labour and stopped eventually. Now I am on bed rest to keep the baby in longer but they will delivery at 37 weeks if he doesn’t come before then. I have these pains you described for hours at a time daily. I think yours seem normal for this period of pregnancy as the havent escalated. Not sure if its related to the baby dropping mine turned at 26 weeks and only started to feel the heaviness two weeks ago, I feel like he’s about to drop out. Ask your consultant next visit but I don’t think you should worry.
