It's so dangerous to you and your baby. Totally not worth it and makes for a horrible birth experience. FDA does not approve this drug for use on pregnant women, the manufacturer puts this warning on it's label as this drug was made for gastric ulcers. My first birth was incredibly traumatic and I blame a bad doctor with a personal agenda for it. Do some research on the drugs that are to be used so you can make an informed decision. Let me know how it goes.

1/3 of women will go into labor, 1/3 will have no results and 1/3 will have their cervix thinned out but need pitocin.

Do an internet search and you will find numerous warnings of why it's so dangerous. It may work well most of the time, but some people have had a ruptured uterus or have died.

Do some research before you even think about letting your doctor use this on you!!!! Are your last trimester discomforts really worth putting your baby's life and your life in jeopardy??? The FDA does not approve this drug for use on pregnant women!!!! Even the manufacturer states it on the package. The FDA sent out letters to healthcare providers in 2000 to warn them not to use this drug. Why would the FDA spend all that time and money to warn doctors if they didn't think it was so dangerous?!?!?!?
