Do You Always Know When Baby Drops

I've been carrying real low the entire preg., lately I have noticed the he seems to be kicking me a lot lower but I'm not having any discomfort in my pelvis or feel like there's a bowling ball between my legs which is how I've heard others describe it. I never had trouble breathing but I haven't felt any of the rib shots that I did a few weeks ago. I am 35.5 weeks. It also seems like he is flipping around quite a bit still.

Usually the breathing is the easiet way to tell, but since you haven't had that problem...nevermind. Sounds like he has dropped. You should notice more pressure in the lower area, and you will start going to the bathroom more.

that's just it, I've never stopped going every 10 minutes. Everytime I stand up I feel like I have to run to the bathroom. Do they still flip around or once they're down, they stay down?

i've read there's different degrees of the baby's head being engaged, and they use a scale which goes from -5 to +5 and i think it's used while you're actually giving birth too. i've been trying to figure out if mine has dropped or is engaged, i'll ask my doctor this week. i'm feeling alot of pressure at times in my abdomen, and her body has pretty much been in the same position for the past week - i feel her kicks up by my ribs, but no flipping around anymore. you're at the right # of weeks for yours to drop, but some babies don't drop until labour. it's so hard to tell, since everybody's so different.
