If you can use the hair removal creams on your legs while pregnant? I don't see on the can where it says to ask a Dr. if you are pregnant but I wanted to be sure.

Yeah, I've heard you shouldn't use those or any type of hair bleach because it can seep into your skin and bloodstream. You might want to ask your doc, or just shave...

Hi Prissanna.. Creams have awful smells and can irritate ur skin,, i've tried them all b4 my pregnancy.. shaving is much easier if ur looking for a faster way than waxing and machine epilator.. i heard that the chemicals in the cream aren't good for the baby cz ur skin can absorb them.. u can ask ur dr though if u insist on using them :)

No you should not use dipilatories while pregnant, they contain a very alkaline chemical. There is no proof that it crosses the placenta, but I am a hairdresser and I would color my hair and do all sorts of things except, straighten my hair and use dipilatories...which by the way are very similar in their chemical composition.

It's not that I want to, but I got a kit in the mail to do a survey for. That's why I was asking. I'll just skip it for now though cause I don't want to do anything to harm the baby. I wasn't thinking when I signed up for it. LOL
