So when you start going every two weeks, are the appointments any different? My doctor is a little strange....so gee, I can't wait to spend more time with him. Everytime, I pee in a cup, and he asks me if I have any questions. That's about it. I never really have questions, so it's a always a bit awkward. I'm going to have to start making some up, I guess.

I started to go at 30 weeks. The doctor appointments are just as short. At mine, they take my blood pressure& weight, pee in a cup, take babies blood pressure, and then ask if you have questions. My appointment this week (36 weeks) we are going to start doing the v____al exam.
I never have questions either...

My visits are also "short and sweet" so to speak. Just weight, blood pressure, pee in a cup. The Dr. comes in listens to the baby's heartbeat with the doppler and say's Have any questions? The whole thing takes about 15 minutes. I think they will be testing me soon for the group B strep or Beta strep. Not sure the exact name.

I believe you start around 30 weeks and then when you get to a certain point you go once a week i think that might be 34-35 weeks

I am 34 weeks and have already had to start going once a week. I supposedly have a history of high blood pressure, so they want to put me on the NST monitor (to check baby's stress level) once a week (even though my BP has been perfect so far.
