Dreft Vs Other Detergents

So I need to start washing clothes and bedding...and I saw that Dreft is pretty expensive. Are there other detergents such as arm and hammer that are just as gentle? Or should I stick with dreft?

I have been using allergen-free ALL. It's about $3.99/bottle which I think is a pretty fair price. Also, it has no dyes, perfumes, etc...

I am going to ask my dr next week if I can use something other than Dreft too. Supposedly to can buy anything without dye, like JESS said, and it should be fine. I am asking just to be sure though. I will try to remember to post my answer if my pregnany brain lets me. :)

I have used Baby ALL....it is def. cheaper than Dreft! I wouldn't waste my money on that detergent...you can use other kinds like they said and its just fine!

Whatever you choose, be sure it's liquid because it's more water soluble than powder . Which mean it can easily rinse out of the clothes.

I use the Target brand of Dreft and it costs half the price of Dreft. It has worked great!

I've been using Purex Free liquid, and my daughter has been fine with it.

I use Baby Purex. It's cheaper than Dreft and I love how it smells.
