Everyone Else Is Having Their Baby

Anyone ever feel like that? I have several friends/acquaintances who have had babies in the past few weeks. Then Gwyneth Paltrow had hers, and now Katie Holmes & Brooke Shields had theirs and it just makes this drag on & on like it's never going to happen! At 39 weeks I am READY so I feel bad for those of you who are past 40.

Have you tried self induction? Do you want to do into labo on your own?

I'll be 40 weeks on Friday. lol, you're naming celebrities! Okay... so probably all women have felt this way. I bet my cousin who just had her baby, or my friend from junior high who had hers two weeks ago, or even Gwyneth Paltrow (for goodness sake!) were saying the same thing to themselves about February moms. And the February moms were saying it about January moms, and so on back through time. Soon, fellow April mom, it will be our time... and the May & June moms will may come to say the same about us. And ya know what? We'll also all forget about it as soon as we see our babies' beautiful faces. Good luck to you!

i had my baby at 39 weeks. the day it actually turned over, and the anticipation was gone in one day. trust me, you will miss the anticipation and want to be the one complaining about when it will come.! good luck

You're right--I know as soon as the baby is born, I'll never think that again. You just hear about all these people and people say "you still haven't had that baby?" and it's discouraging! That's why I like this forum--we're all in the same boat. I'm not going to try to induce, I know she'll come out when she's good & ready.
