Alright ladies, here we are, finally (most of us anyway) officially in the third trimester!! How exciting. I hope you all had great weekends; mine was nice and relaxing for a change, I even got some housework done, which of late has been a feat in itself!! Hope you're all having a great Monday....Beth hopefully this won't be as long of a day for us as Friday was!!

Kendra - November 14

Woo-hoo! So this is what the third trimester looks like. My weekend was alright. It's kind of funny, we just got a new "couples friend" - and at first it was great, because we never had another good couple to hang out with...but now we're with them all the time...and not just watching tv or something - out...socializing. It's exhausting. So that's what we did this weekend. Are any of you having problems with restless legs? I think that's my biggest complaint about pregnancy right now, is that every night, I get it, and it's miserable! My husband rubs my legs, and that helps, but only while he's rubbing them. As soon as he stops, they go right back. Anyways...I need to be getting ready for work. Good mondays, all around.

Hey everyone! Great to be back to work, I had such a busy weekend, this is kinda relaxing, LOL! I am offically 27 weeks today. I go to the doc on thurs for the gestational diabetes test, a little nervous after hearing all of the stories, but surely I will be okay. I am sleepy today, but that is to be expected. I am excited about the third trimester! I can almost see the final product of this pregnancy and it is looking sweeter by the min. Hope time goes by fast for us. I am ready to meet my little one! Happy Day! Will check in later on.

Good morning ladies!!! Well, here we are - yeah!!! I had a great weekend - nice and relaxing, which most are now a days. Have a great Monday...fortunately I have a busy next 2 weeks - so time will fly till Thanksgiving! -Lena

Crystal - November 14

Hard to belive next week is Thanksgiving already...I haven't even bought a turkey yet. Glad you all had such great weekends. Speaking of sleep last night was ridiculous! I kept waking up every two hours to pee...I wasn't even this bad in the first trimester! I hope last night was just a once in a while type of thing. Kendra, I haven't had any problems with my legs, just with the heels of my feet, they really hurt by the end of the day.

Hi ladies. On Thursday I will be 27 weeks! I'm so glad to be at the home stretch. I have my Glucose test today, and I'm slightly nervous about it, but I'm hopeful everything will be alright. Kendra, is restless legs, like a charlie horse? I get those really bad at night for the past week. I also feel like I've b__wn up in the past week. Oh well, such is pregnancy.

hi ladies I had a prety good weekend, except I hjad mild "period like" cramps in my back. I am hoping they go away soon. Yesterday I basically lazed around till mid-afternoon. Then got motivated. Okay I have a silly question for anyone: why is my dates differ from the u/s? Oh this confuses me. But being here is pretty exciting!!!! Does anyone have problems in the pelvic bone area to where alot of the time it hurts to walk or move? Well gott some stuff to do. check back later,

Poor thing ~ so sorry about your bf's dad ~ just have your bf explain it was a hormonal thing, but that he shouldn't say that kind of thing anymore....I'm telling you there should be some kind of etiquite manual for pregnant women and friends. Some people just don't realize how rude their comments are I think. As for the u/s date Misty ~ I'm not really sure about that one. Mine's only off by a couple of days though, so I may not be a good one to ask.

Crystal - November 14

Whoops~that last one was from me, talking to Beth. It's Monday.

lmrod55 - November 14

Beth - I am sorry to hear about that comment...your bf needs to tell him to cool it! I hope that your Monday afternoon goes better for you (after your weigh in). :-)~ I have been having a few leg cramps, nothing extreme as of yet.

Beth - November 14

OK I'm back from the doc's...weigh in went extremely well!!! I'm now in a great mood, although I had a few "preggo brain" moments between my last post and now....oh well...I gained 3 1/2 pounds in 4 weeks!!! Doctor is predicting a 6 1/2-7 pound baby, hb was 138, I pa__sed my glucose test and what I was feeling on my side (just under my ribs on my right side, sometimes poking out, round and hard) turns out is my babies bum :) Oh, and I'm measuring 27 cm, so a bit small but my doc says that it's prolly just the way I'm carrying.

Kendra - November 14

Oh I'm glad you're pleased with your weigh in, Beth - if you weren't it would've made monday that much worse. I have a weigh in tomorrow. I can't stand it! I always think I'm doing well, and then I get up there, and I've gained a ton of weight! I always want to tell everyone watching (they're probably not) "well...still had my shoes on, there's 2lbs....bra's got an underwire, probably some special metal, too...so 3lbs there...etc." What's worse, is that I started out pretty thin, I was underweight for my height, and so I think the nurse that weighs me actually gets joy out of the fact that I've gained so much, she always looks kinda snarky afterwards. Anyways, the restless leg thing, Maggie, it's not a charlie horse, it just feels like there's a tingly, crawly, feeling in my legs. It's hard to explain because really the only word that comes to mind is - restless! You feel ansy, and like you have to move your legs or they'll cramp up.

Crystal - November 14

Glad your weight in went so well Beth ~ amazing how little things like that make us so happy! I'm anxious to go to my appointment, but it's not for a while yet ~ I'm curious how my baby's laying in there & too see if there's any tricks to tell what's what. I didn't realize the doctors would be making size predictions already ~ hmmm..more curious now!

Does anyone besides me hate to be touched? I went to several different family events this weekend and it seemed like almost everyone of the older women had to rub my bellly. It just seemed to bother me, but of course I was polite and did not say a word about it, but does anyone have a polite way of getting people not to do this? I remember total strangers did this to me in the mall one time too. It just kinda freaked me out, lol...

Kendra - November 14

You rub their belly. It's not terribly polite, but neither is what they're doing. Being pregnant doesn't make you public property.

Beth - November 14

Kendra-your post made me laugh so hard I snorted, right now I'm at work and people are looking at me like I'm crazy...oh well, my last weigh in was a whooping 9 pounder, so this one was very pleasing, if I kept on gaining 9 pounds, I'd have pretty much doubled my weight by the time I popped....I do that too though, I was like oh just wait one second, redo, I forgot to take my shoes off, it actually did take a pound off...but I'm still wearing all this heavy clothing, I love your explanation....hilarious...ok I've stopped giggling...I wasn't underweight but I was on the lower side of the weight spectrum for my height/weight pre-pregnancy and it isn't the nurse (she's a sweetie, small asian, actually I'm scared once my stomache gets bigger I won't even be able to see her, just like my feet :) but the receptionist, whose not preggo, but a touch overweight, I feel like she's staring at me, for my first couple of appt's I looked good (nice jeans, no tummy, cute t-shirts and high heels) and I think she's secretly taking pleasure in my demise, as now I show up in maternity clothes that aren't flattering and "fill them out" I think that she took teh job in my doctor's office so that she could watch skinny girls get fat. Crystal-I have no idea how my doc is predicting how much the baby will weigh, I don't think it's accurate, just a guess, now I start going every two weeks, ah rats I have to miss work :) DWC-I hate it when people touch my belly too, so I touch there's they get the hint, usually. At my last family dinner (Thanksgiving-Canadian style) one of my aunts actually pulled up my shirt, I was scared.....and somebody at the mall stopped me and touched my belly asking me when I was due, I told her I wasn't pregnant, just fat...haha...you should have seen the look on her face, I thought she was going to die....it was really great.
