Feeling Discouraged

I know I still have one more week to go until I am over due but I am starting to feel really discouraged and depressed about not having my daughter yet. I have tried the s_x thing, walking alot and my midwife did a stretch and sweep on me and still NOTHING! not any cramps, contractions or even any bloody show. I just feel like I am going to be pregnant forever. Its really hard because my brothers girlfriend just had a baby girl on monday and it makes me feel even more anxious for my daughter to be here. Sorry if this is ranting or whiney, I just thought if I could post these feelings anywhere, it would be here and you ladies could relate and understand. to the ladies who have had babies, did you start to feel this depressed near the end of your pregnancy? or am I just going crazy?

I feel the same...I am not due until March 29th, but I still feel like I am going to be pregnant forever and this is never going to end!! I have been 3cm for 3 weeks already and it sucks hearing the same thing every week "you are still 3cm"..I just want to make some progress and almost wish I wouldn't have found out I was dilated already!! I wouldn't say that I am depressed, I just want to be done...I am so uncomfortable, and so edgy lately...I feel sorry for my husband and my 2 yr. old because I get so crabby sometimes!!

i feel the same way Meghan! i'm due 3-18 and nothing has happened! i went to the doctor yesterday and he said my cervix is STILL high and i haven't dilated not even ONE centimeter. i'm starting to get depressed. its overwhelming when everyone is anticipating your child's birth and he doesn't want to come out. i've tried everything except s_x; walking for hours, pineapples, drinking tea, bathes, squats, yoga, nipple stimulation, you name it i've probably done it!!!
