My wife has had a fever for the past day and a half. Ok infection right? heres the kicker? We have two thermometers an inner ear thermometer and a digital oral thermometer. Ok so the oral digital one reads her temp. anywhere from 97.1 to 99.2 degrees however the ear thermometer reads her anywhere from 100.9 to 102.7 degrees what gives how can these thermometers be right? when we take our other daughters and my own temp the two thermometers are reading different but not nearly as dramatically different as for my wife!? what gives any theorys?

If you think your wife has a fever, take her to the doctor ASAP. When I had the flu, the doctor told me once I find out that I have a fever, I have to immediately contact them to bring me in.

Like KFish said, if you think she has a fever it is VERY important she go see the doctor or to the ER! The high temp. can hurt the baby.

I just recently have a fever of 102.7 for a couple of days. I called the doctor and they said to monitor it carefully cuz a high temp of over 100.4 can throw you into labor.
