How Do You Know If The Babys Head Is Engaged

how do you know? My son has been head down forever.... Just wondering what it feels like when hes engaged?

I didn't notice any difference, my doctor just told me that she is engaged at a station -1 right now, and I couldn't tell you the difference from when she wasn't engaged to now...sorry, no help! :(

When I went to see my doctor a few weeks ago, they told me that the head was at -2 station. I don't know for sure but I know that I began to feel a lot more pressure in the pelvic area when I would turn in bed, get off the couch, use the bathroom or when the baby would move. I kept thinking, that it feels like the baby could fall out. I just knew that the head had been lower. When I went back to see my doctor yesterday she performed an internal exam and her first reaction was, "Oh yes. The head is very low." Hope this helps.
