I have been sick my whole preg. and so my dr. has been watching me close. I had the triple T test done and the chemical for downs came back re***y high along with the one that can cause my blood pressure to go high, fast. I hav an ultrasound yesterday and they said the baby wasnt growing he is four weeks behind. How long will they let him go before they take him early? Im 30 1/2 weeks what is the prognosis?

Babies generally do well when they are born around 35-36 weeks. You are considered full term at 37 weeks, but because of your babies developmental delay im not sure if its lungs and organs would be developed enough for it to do well outside of the womb. Definately this is something you should discuss in depth with your doctor, only he will knoe when it is reasonably safe to take the baby. I hope everything works out for you and your little one!
