I Am A Balloon This Morning

I woke up this morning all puffy. My feet are aching, my hands are tight and my face is a little swollen. Do you think its cause I worked for the last 3 days on my feet, or is there something else to be worrying about? I was just gonna rest for the next three days that I am off. Do you think that will help?

I don't mean to worry you but I think you need to see your doctor as soon as possible. It may be due to normal fluid retention but if you also test for high blood pressure and protein in your urine this could be a sign of pre-eclampsia which can be dangerous for you and your baby. Please see your doctor to be on the safe side

thanks emmag, I stopped off at the doc.s after dropping my girls off at school. I thought I would see if a nurse could check my blood pressure. She did and I was 140/80 which I guess is up a bit. They checked urine and everything fine there, so she said to put my feet up and rest as much as I can, and to watch my fluid intake. She said if it doesn't get any better that I may be taken off work. She said baby is very well, and a good size.(great) Anywho thanks for your advice.

When that happened to me with my first pregnancy, it was signs of preclampsia. Hopefully that isn't it, but I would go and get it checked out!!!
