hey gals.. i'm just over 30 weeks now... and i'm always soooooo tired... i'll go to bed early and be exhausted, but i literally just lay there, every time i "wake" up, i feel like i havent slept a wink... this is driving me crazy... i take baths every night before bed to wind me down, but this is not working.. any one else have this problem?? i feel like i could sleep ALL day, but once night hits, i'm totally restless.... i end up falling asleep in early early morning, like 7am.. and getting an hour or two of really good sleep and then waking up exhausted.. HELP!

Sounds like you could be anaemic and in need of extra iron. At this point baby is literally sucking everything it needs from you and it isn't uncommon to need the extra supplement. Only problem is a nasty side effect called constipation! If you do suffer from it your Doctor can orescribe something to help.

IZECH-Wow, I go to sleep around 11pm and wake at exactly 3am. I cannot go back to sleep until 8am. I get in a good hour and sleep 15 minute naps, allday. I am always so tired and I am so constipated. It hurts to sleep on either sides. I can only sleep on my back. Ugghh! Also, I take iron.

Izech, I am the same as you and MsMonet. I go back to sleep around 6-8 am and wake up at noon sometimes. I wake myself up just from switching sides & it is really painful to move around in bed or even sit in the recliner because I get a lot of discomfort in my ribs since I am short. Some days I can't wait to get this over with but other days I get nervous about this lifechanging event that I want him to stay in there as long as I can! That may be the cause for not sleeping at night too... some anxiety. I can't even walk now without a support belt on, totally disabled!

well girls.. i'm sorry you're all expierencing this too! i'm glad i'm not the only one though! i have sciatica and acid reflux.. so its always a juggle between those two things and if my son is gonna sleep well... i swear i wont sleep again until all my kids are off to college!! haha... and even then i'll probably worry sick about them and not be able to sleep.. i'm ready to be done.. i'm ready to meet my next son, and move on! i really love being pregnant but i'm past the point of loving it now! i want to love my little boy instead!

Be patient, IZECH! You have a few more weeks to go. We want your sons lungs to be fully matured, etc and we want him to go home with you. I do understand. I am 32w3day. I get so frustrated but I'd rather deal with this then complications with my twins. Keep writing your feelings on this thread. We will all be here for you.

thanks MsMonet... i'm definately patient though, i dont want him to come yet.. but if he wants to grace me with his presence like around Feb 7th.. i'll be full term then.. :) i'm getting used to being restless... and it doesnt bother me.. but it'd be much easier to deal with if my son were actually here to be up with! i realize he'll be here soon enough.. i was just venting and it sometimes helps to know you're not the only one going through it....
