I Think It S Time

This isn't a question, I'm just excited to say that I've been having contractions every 15 minutes- 10 minutes for a couple hours now. I went to the doc yesterday (it wasn't my doc, mines out of town :( ) and he gave me a cervix exam and said I was 2cm and 75% effaced. He said that the exam he gave me alone might really start things going, but he also told me to go on a long walk. As you may remember I'm measuring very large because my baby is in the 95% for size. Anywho, I went for a three mile walk last night and that kicked in the contractions, but along with the contractions came TERRIBLE back pain. I somehow managed to get some sleep through the night, but now the contractions are getting stronger and closer together and I have LOTS AND LOTS of cervical mucous coming out everytime I pee. I'm just waiting for the contractions to get 5 mins apart and I'm ready to go!! Wish me luck, it would be a big bummer if this isn't it!

Yeah, I know what you are talking about Jamie... the last three days have been the worst and most painful of my life!!! I'll explain more later after the pain goes away... to make it short and sweet I'm 100%, 3cm, 0station, and my water bag is sticking out... the midwife told me to go home and have s_x and that will break the water, but I don't have a partner! I had a NST today, and it didn't turn out too well, so I have a biophysical profile u/s at the hospital... then I am going to take the medicine that was prescribed to me to get some sleep, and if my water hasn't broken by tonight I'm buying myself a d____o and breaking it myself!

Good luck and God bless you and your Baby
