i know this isn't an emergency and i'm not running off to the hospital any time soon BUT i've been having cramping ALL DAY LONG (from about 8am this morning) and it hasn't stopped. It's stayed about 20 minutes apart and isn't getting closer (which isn't good news in terms of going into labor). Has anyone experienced this, and what could it be? I know no one has the "perfect" answer I'm just hoping that this means there is some sort of progress happening!

I dont want to dash your dreams.. but my sister (she lives with me) has been having cramping like what you describe for about 3 weeks now. There is still no baby.. and honestly she thought that she would be at least a little more dialated, when she got checked on Wednesday nothing had changed. That being said, Ive heard of a lot of ladies being in the same pain you are and there babies were there within 48 hours.. i believe it depends on your body. Im crossing my fingers for ya! ~Kristin~

Hey.. im just checkin to see if those pains have gotten any closer together, or more intense. It sounds promising that there is at least a pattern of every 20 minutes.. however.. my sister has gotten to the point where they are exactlly 2 minutes apart.. still no baby. She is 2 days overdue and not loving it! I hope in your case these pains are the start of things to come! BTW.. your name ROCKS!!! hehehe ~Kristin~

I had a lot of that with my 3rd. He was scheduled to be born by c-section, so I was actually hoping to NOT go into labor lol, which I didn't. It got me moving on getting the nursery in order, though! Maybe your baby's telling you to get the last minute details done ;-)
