i was 1 1/2 cms yesterday at ob; had s_x this morning at 6 am started having contractions at 715 and haven't stopped (going on 2 & half hrs.) they are about 30-1 minute long & anywhere from 1 1/2 minutes - 5 1/2 minutes apart now.

did you drink some water??? - and your doctor didn't tell you to slow your roll cuz of preterm labor? LOL - don't mess around with contractions girl seriously call your doctor and see what they say.....

stef- yah they are ive started to get them on both sides now (the contractions; & now in my lower back on the left hand side) tina- ive tried but not doing anything; ive been just out of it & very tired. i had lower back pains at 2-3 am & couldn't get back to sleep till 430.

Call your doctor Kendra.. S_x can trigger some pregnant women and since your measuring so far ahead you never know.

lucky- i know; thats what i was thinking i just checked myself at 945 i was 2 cms; i literally just checked myself again (1045) and im about 2cms maybe a tad bigger.

i'd go to the doctors. no point in messing around when a baby wants to make its entrance into the world!

What are they doing to stop your labor? Terbutaline, magnesium sulfate, procardia, bed rest, anything? I'd be trying to get them to be more aggressive because the nicu isn't a good experience so anything you can do to wait and keep that little guy in there is worth it.
