im almost 37 weeks getting down to the final weeks but in the past week or so i have had terrible insomnia. i'm so big it's hard to get comfortable in bed, plus the heartburn and the anixety of having my first baby is just making it so hard to get a good night sleep. is anyone else experiencing this if so what have you tried to make you sleep better?

nothing made me sleep better!! lol. it does get frustrating. my bf wouldn't even sleep with me anymore after week 35-36 because i woke up so many times and tossed and turned. heartburn i found no cure for other than Prilosec. the insomnia...just a warm shower before bed and a warm rice bag on my lower back helped me. other than that....just try different places to sleep. i slept better on my couch than on my bed and better on the floor with a pillow under my belly than on the couch. Good luck!

i've been having the same thing but i was taking naps during the day because i have been sooooo tired. so, i stopped sleeping during the day and i stay up as late at night as i can until i really feel tired then i go to bed. if i really feel like i need some help i take one tylenol pm and that usually helps. as for the heartburn, i keep a bottle of tums near my bed and just pop a few when i need them. it gives me relief. good luck! we're almost there!
