Internal Examination

iam 29 weeks pregnant.i had pain in my pelvic bone and my doctor did an internal examination and said the baby was resting its head on my pelvic bone.and she said she pushed a baby a little bit.she also said the baby's head is soft.she also said my cervix are closed.now iam worried whether that would have affected my baby because its bones are soft....can somebody please anwer me!!!

Rita, I wouldn't worry yourself sick over this; that baby's head, while soft, is hardy enough to mold/change shape as it gets pressed on all sides down the birth ca___l and withstand the throes of labor itself - you also mentioned that the doctor said your cervix was closed, so I'm a__suming she would have had to press on your baby's head through your fluid-filled uterus - to damage a child despite all that protective cushioning would be an amazing feat, indeed! I say take a deep breath and put your fears to rest; your child is going to be fine. :)

Rita, I don't think that they can damage your baby's head on that way. What kind of pain did you have?severe? or just pressure
