I need some words of wisdom...Is anyone due soon that had a miscarriage the first time around? I got pregnant for the first time and had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and im ttc again but am so scared it will happen again and i will never be able to have a baby. I figured maybe if i asked some women who are due soon maybe they would have a sucess story, any words would be helpful and congratulations to all.

I am 35 weeks and I had a miscarriage in March and got pregnant right away again. Didn't even have a normal period in between. DH & I were trying for about 11 months to get pregnant...then had m/c (around 8 weeks)...then got pregnant next month (after we decided to quit trying). :) So, it all worked out. I had 2 surgeries on my cervix for precancerous cells 2 years ago so that's why we had such a hard time getting preg. and at 25 weeks I started effacing and having signs of incompetent cervix. But, we've made it to 35 weeks and there's nothing wrong with our little man! It was hard at first to get excited but I just had to put it in God's hands and pray lots. Good luck. How far are you?

I had a miscarriage in Feb and became pregnant again before I even started my period after the miscarriage. I am almost 38 wks pregnant with a healthy baby and uncomplicated pregnancy except some light spotting in the begining. I am scheduled to be induced on the 21st to have the baby. Miracles do happen. Keep the faith and good luck to you!!!!

I second J. I am due Monday and had a m/c in Jan at 8 weeks. Waited one month and got pg again immediately. Like j was scared of miscarrying again and fearful for the first trimester, but here we are looking forward to our little girl... My best wishes for you and hubby and condolences on your loss, I know it was the most painful thing my hubby and I had went through - it is normal to fear, but faith does help, and the baby will come... so baby dust to you! :)

I'm 36 weeks and had 3 miscarriages before this baby. I never thought I would be a mom, and I see my little man as a miracle. I understand how you feel, getting pregnant after a miscarriage is scarey and can suck the fun right out of your next pregnancy. I can say that as you get further along you will relax and enjoy it more, the fear and anxiety will start to ease. The best advice I can give is the same as J's put it in God's hands. Some hurts and anxieties are just to big to try to carry on your own shoulders. Just know also that the odds are with you that this baby is going to be fine and healthy and thriving. Also my Sister in law had a miscarriage with her first pregnancy, she then found out she was pregnant again right away, had a healthy son who is now 4. and She is 36 weeks pregnant with a little girl. We have the same due date! I'll remember you and your baby in my prayers.

I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks. It was really hard as we had just started telling people that we were expecting as we thought we were through into the 'safe' period. It was the hardest time ever, but a close friend said to me to start trying again asap. We did and now we are due on the 26th nov. We had a hard first trimester, of course you will be scared of history being repeated, but whether it does or doesn't, keep trying. Good luck.

I had two m/c and am now a couple weeks away from giving birth to a healthy baby boy. My 2nd m/c and d&c was just a month before this pregnacy began. Alls well and I hope it will be for you too!
