Is This Pressure Feeling Normal

Hi. I am just finishing my 29th week today and have noticed the last couple of days that I am feeling a lot more pressure in my belly. This happens especially when walking around, as if I have a really full bladder, even though I don't. Also it feels like the baby is really pushing outwards. Is this feeling normal or is it a sign that I need bedrest (I work on my feet all day)? Should I get this checked out? Thanks!

I was just reading another post kinda like this and most people said Braxton Hicks -- let me see if I can find it again

look for "what is this feeling in my stomach" started by meg -- should be on the 2nd page -- it is in the third trimester area

Yeah, i am not sure if it is BH contractions though because it is not like it comes and goes. It's just when I am walking and once I sit down it is usually fine. Oh well, I guess it is nothing to worry about anyways.

I have had BH for a couple of weeks and thought it was baby just pushing outward. I had a non-stress test last week and they showed me my patterns of contractions. So I know now I have been having them alot. (38 weeks). BH does go away with a change in position or movement, real labor will not.

The baby is getting bigger and putting pressure on you when you walk. The baby could also be pushing outward at the same time. Gravity is working against you as you carry around a growing baby. The baby could also be reacting to the motion and movement as you walk. You can talk to your doctor about it, but it doesn't sound like you're having a problem. If you're not in serious pain, you're fine.
