anyone tried this during previous labors? How is it? AND should we bring bathing suits, or is that silly?

I have also been wondering the same but thought it would be silly to ask my doctor. I think you wear a top but i wasnt sure about a bottom...i was thinking no?

I didnt have a jacuzzi, but I did get in the bathtub for hours. I didnt wear anything, and really didnt want any clothes on at that point, but everyone is different. It helped me relax which I think may have spead up labour (went from 1cm to 10 in 1 1/2 hours) after I got in tub. Good luck!

thanks Michelle, I was thinking that clothing may be uncomfortable at that point, but was unsure. I may pack my tankini lindsay - so if I feel like wearing just the top I can. If I don't want any of it, it's not like it takes that much room in the bag.

Oh, it feels so good. I had no pain meds and water was my only relief throughout the whole labor. I stayed in the tub for only one hour, and it brought me from only 3 cm. to 9 cm. My only regret is that I didn't get in the tub earlier. I was naked, but it was just my husband and I in the room, with the nurse periodically checking up on us.
