Labor Or Braxton Hicks

I have been having braxton hicks contractions with a little bit of back pain for about two hours. They are also about every 10 minutes apart........does this sound like labor or should I not worry about it. They don't really hurt just uncomfortable??? HELP

I've been having BH contractions for about 2 days now. Sometimes they're regular and really intense but most of the time they aren't. Sometimes they start in my back and radiate around, but most of the time it's just a tightening. I'm 40+ weeks now and so far they haven't turned into anything resembling real labour. That's not to say it won't for you, though. If they start increasing in intensity and length, you're in real labour.

I would take a nice shower and relax, but continue timing. A couple of nights ago I had them every 7 minutes for over 2 hours. After the shower and relaxing, they went away... It could be either... How far along are you? I'm 36 w 4 d.

if it was the real thing it would have grown with major intensity over the last two hours. Sounds like BH to me.

i also find heat(warm bath, hot watter bottle) relaxes the back pain and helps the braxton hicks go away the two times i ever had them.
