Labor Symtoms

I'm just wondering, what were your early warning symtoms, besides losing your mucus plug and your water breaking, that labor was just around the corner?? This is my first child, so everything is new to me. I'm currently 38 weeks and this past week I've been feeling very, very faint and every now and then I'll feel nausious. I haven't felt like this since the first couple of weeks I became pregnant. Lastnight I woke up with a terrible stomach ache. THe only way I can describe it is, that feeling like you have to take a #2 sooo bad that your stomach starts to hurt, that's how I felt, except I didn't need to do a #2 I barely had to pee. I also felt some brief sharp pain in my pubic bone. I don't think my baby has dropped yet, my tummy still looks and feels the same. He (beacuse I think it's a boy) is still moving, not much kicking but rather it feels like he's trying to stretch. I have 4 more days of work left, I'm just hoping I can make it through.

As much as you probably don't want to hear it, everything you're experiencing are normal end of the road symptoms. When labor comes, you'll know. Your water will break, or you will start having contractions that are regular and getting stronger. It will happen soon, you're in the home stretch!

I would say that you are just about ready. When I felt like that with my son he came in just a few days. Good luck with that
