Lack Of Baby Movement

I'm 36 weeks along and the dr. says the baby is head down, when the baby drops lower does this affect the baby's movement. He is not moving much at all!!!! I believe he is okay but this is so different than normal.

I am experiencing the same thing. I am 33 weeks and I haven't really been feeling alot of baby movement. I was told by my doctor when there is less room they are not moving as much or when they do move it the kicks may feel a harder. Most of the time in the third trimester my doctor also told me that they sleep more so as long as you feel about 10-12 movements every two hours then you are ok. If you do not call you doctor maybe you need to go in have a fetal stress test done to see how the baby is doing. Hope this helps

They go through growth spurts, and they sleep alot when they are growing. I was just getting used to the slowing down of my babies movement... and really enjoying it, then bam he moved the ENTIRE day yesterday. I say welcome the short breaks, just make sure that you feel the baby move at least once every two hours.
