Last Day Of Work

LRK - December 30

Today is my last day of work--I am so happy. I am 36.5 weeks now. I could continue to work for a bit, except that I have to wake up at 5:30, drive 30 miles, and I am also trying to finish building our new house. Last week I almost fried myself--I was so exhausted--I had chills and my feet were too swollen to put in any of my shoes. This could not come at a better time (except maybe a month ago!!!). I have not had time to go shopping for baby stuff or eat healthy food lately. Is anyone else leaving work this early? What are you going to do with your time? Will I get bored watching Oprah and Martha?

I am so jealous!! And happy for you :) It sounds like you have so much to do, that there may not even be time for Martha and Oprah! I am very lucky to have a nonstressful job behind a desk, that is close to home, so I'll probably work right up until labor, but if I thought I could get away with it, I would already be gone! Good luck with your house and the baby!

LRK, today's my last day too!!! I'm 35 weeks and I am so excited to start my shopping. We've already picked up a few things but I will spend January picking up clothes, diapers etc... I hope I don't go too stir crazy, but at least I will be able to take naps! :)

Hi I'm leaving work when I'll be 34 weeks. I have a temp job so it could be sooner than that, it gets slow in January. I'm going to try to sell some things on ebay to take up some time, I have a lot of paperwork to go through and of course finishing up the babys room! Hopefully that will keep me busy enough! Work is exhausting to me right now for some reason. Even though it's in an office I come home & I'm totally wiped out. Good luck!!
