Lung Development Amp Preeclampsia Sp

I'm having the warning signs of preeclampsia, high blood pressure (144/84), pitting edema, traces of protein in urine, but I have been put on bed rest yet, I go back in tomorrow to get checked. Anyway, I'm 36 weeks and was wondering when are the baby's lungs considered fully developed? I'm stressing at the thought of delivering early and he not be ready. Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

I believe at 36 weeks your little ones lungs are at least 90percent to 100percent developed. Think of it this way, at 37 weeks they consider the baby "full term" and wont stop labor. In your situation...i think it is healthier to have that baby out of your body then in it. And baby may need a bit of oxygen right away, but shouldnt need anything major . Hope this helps :)
