Well, I just got back from the grocery store. I have to clean today, FUN!!! I have to make sure it stays spotless because I cannot go into labor and leave the house a mess. Everyone sounds so excited that it is March, but still so sad that it isn't "THE DAY". I am with you. I keep thinking that every little sign is the onset of labor, but as always.... nothing. You gals that know when you are going in are so lucky. I know a c section is scary, but atleast you have a light shining bright at the end of the tunnel. There is a light at the end of mine too, of course, it is just further away. LOL Thanks for the new thread

no problem. mary-i had my first at 35 and I'm 38 now, it's driving me nuts...I just hope I don't go past 40, it'll stink! And I really hope the baby isn't huge all though they are all saying he'll be. UGH!

my first came at 42 weeks. so I'm feeling positive and optimistic that this one will be earlier. well, actually I KNOW this one will be earlier, because my doctor has promised to induce me a week early. so it's all gravy baby.

Stacy - March 1

I had my first at 42 weeks and was induced. Lord please don't let this one be past 40 weeks!!! Maybe there is a difference between 18 years old and 31. I hope older is sooner. LOL

I am so excited to go on a walk with my little girl!!! We havent even totally decided on her name yet... My man wants Abigail now.... and we are both sooo indecisive! I was set on Elledra( pronounced Elleedra)... Its wierd but its my cousins name(backwards) who died of brain cancer...so its special to me...I would call her Ellie...I think its cute... Man oh man i really dont know! I am letting my son give her a middle name though. He has it picked already. I am going to share it with you before I go lay down for 10 because my rib is killin me!! ERRGGGG.. ... Flower !!!!! isnt that the cutest? hahaha....He just came up with it one day but now hes starting to say it everyday!!! have a good morning / afternoon whatever time it is ...

tiffany - March 1

i know what you mean about the ribs. I wish my son was old enough to help me pick the name, but he's not, too bad it would make it that much easier!! Have a good nap!

well, I've just informed my husband that HE can decide on the boys name as long as he agrees that we are setteled on a girls name. I actually told him that in anger becuase I'm sick of fighting about it. but now that I've put it out there like that....it feels like a MASSIVE weight has been lifted off my shoulders. now I'm teasing him, that if our son grows up liking his name then that is wonderful, but if he hates it....it's all my husbands fault. so it's a win/win for me! haha

tiffany - March 1

that works! :-) I hope we get this name thing settled soon!!

I'm glad to know we're not alone in not having a name yet. But it sounds like you guys are discussing it much more than we have been. We've both sort of ignored that so far, for some reason. Seems much easier to pretend its not something we have to do. I don't know why I have this peace about it, but for some reason, I have this feeling that she'll just come out looking like "_____" and then we'll know. Or, if nothing else, if I put it off long enough, I can get my dh to have to decide when they fill out the birth certificate!

I've been pushing the issue to no end and have been extremely stressed over it. I'm not sure why. I think part of it is me tyring to "bond" with my baby before it gets here because I don't even know if it's a boy or a girl. I'm trying to take a step back and chill out about it. it's been really hard for me though.

JennyC - March 1

I suppose there's a trade off...chances are good I'll be stressing about it AFTER she's born, which is probably worse than doing it right now. Or we'll decide last minute and end up with a name we both hate and she'll have to live with it for the rest of her life. I do take comfort in the fact that when my brother named their little boy "Kieran" we all thought that was really strange and didn't really like it. But now that he's almost 4, it sounds just fine and I couldn't imagine him with any other name. I guess the name just changes in your mind to fit the kid.

Does anyone know the normal level of v____al discharch a__sosiated with being 36 weeks? I am having a hrd time know if i am having increased v____al discharge or leaking water. What is normal? Mine is to the poiint where I almost need a pad.

JennyC - March 1

I'm at 37 and not leaking at all. but I'm not dilated yet, either. I'd call your doctor, maybe your water broke!! how exciting!
