Hi everyone. I have a terrible migraine and I am trying the old stand by tylenol but it really is not doing the trick. I feel so bad taking it but my head is just pounding...I tried the rapid release gelcaps last night and they sort of worked....just left me with that "I still have the headache but it's a little less uncomfortable feeling" Is there anything else safe to take? It's a really really bad one...

I'm pretty sure you're stuck with the pain. I know I haven't taken anything for my headache (going on a 24 hour long one now) because I haven't had time to call my doctor and ask. If it's really back maybe you should go get checked out. High blood pressure can cause bad headaches... I was told to watch out for that. I am 37 w 3 d.

I took my prescription migrain medicine when I was pregnant. My doctor o.k'd it to be taken every once in a while.

You may not feel up to it but if you could orgasm somehow either with your mate or by yourself, I've found that to be VERY helpful with relieving migraines. Good luck. :)

I second the getting checked... a severe migraine along with high blood pressure is a sign of preeclampsyia...which is very very serious... I get regular headaches and my meds were ok'd by my dr but I have to keep my blood pressure monitored just incase... because preeclampsyia is so severe ur dr will prolly take ur complaint of this headache very seriously...at least wanting to check ur bp... gl and I hope 100% that I am wrong.... keep us posted hugs...
