Mood Swings

Is anyone else experiencing terrible mood swings? For the past 2 days I have been on an emotional rollercoaster. I get angry and upset over lots of things, then I feel bad and just want to cry. Is it just me??

Hi Jess, It is not only you. I was feeling like that a couple weeks ago. I think that this is due to hormones. Do not worry. I went through the same thing... If you want to cry, do it. If you feel bad about something try to talk to somebody. That helped me. I feel much better now, but I cannot be sure that I will not feel sad and angry tomorrow....

Well, I hear a lot of woman have mood swings throughout her pregnancy... so I would say it is normal. I on the other hand would not say I have mood swings. My problem is my in-laws and stupid people around me. My husband learned quick to keep me away from people who have been p__sing me off lately or I will go postal on them! I don't get sad and cry; I go from fine and happy to extremely p__sed off and I am not affraid to open my mouth and voice my opinion. Since I became pregnant I am more apt to say what I feel instead of choosing my battles, just incase it would hurt someones feelings. My mother-in-law told me "It's not a man's place to change a diaper" (and my DH had to remove me from the room because I was telling her where she could "place" it). I think everone has different types of "mood swings"

Hi Jess, I have been on an emotional rollercoaster myself. So glad to see your posting. I'm getting angry and upset over little things...and not even realizing until people ask me if I'm ok or what is wrong with me. Then I cry! It's not just you. I have never been so up and down before. Throughout most of my pregnancy my mood has been great, until recently. Those d__n hormones!!!!!!! How far along are you ladies? I am 32 weeks. It could also be the anxiety and anticipation of the birth combined...I found that a good cry and talking about stuff really helped me..I was thinking about starting a journal as well.

yes, yes! i'm not the only one. my emotions have been ridiculous. the other day i dropped some food that i had just cooked, then i went to the pharmacy and my prescription wasnt ready and then i had forgotten to put one of my credit cards back in my wallet, so i couldnt get what i needed to get from the grocery store. i barely made it out of the door and then i burst into tears. i cried all day, i couldnt stop. poor df, didnt know what to do, this is a mess. i find that i too am more honest about my feelings and what i won't hold back from people. i'm the pregnant one, they can learn to deal with it!
