Movements In Weird Places

I am 32 weeks pregnant and for over a month I have felt movement internally in the rectal area. Has anyone else had this? Even my doctor doesn't give a good explanation. She says he is head down and I'm carrying very low. I'm kind of freaked out by this. Help?

I thought that I was the only one. I'm 27 weeks and I get kicked in that area too. Does it ever hurt? It hurts me. To make him kick me in other places, I lay down in another position. I have to otherwise he'll keep going.

Hi, Billie. I'm glad I'm not alone. It doesn't usually hurt, and I'll try the lying down thing. Thanks. He usually does it when I'm standing or sitting.

I'm also getting this. The baby is head down and face down, so I figure if he/she punches or kicks, it's likely to be towards my back rather than towards my tummy. Not a doctors explanation, but I thought it was quite logical (for me to have thought that!!) I feel real pressure on my bowel when it happens.

Hey, me too!! It feels like knocking right in the bum. I imagine everything is so squished because of the baby that you feel all the turning and moving that baby is doing. I'm 38 weeks and have felt that sensation since 30 weeks and I'm o.k. so it must be fine.
