when i had that it was a stomach virus....it was unrelated to the pregnancy, I was sick! but, since your 39 weeks, have u talked to your dr to see if youre dialated or losing your mucus plug?

Do you have hemorroids cause I to have had mucus with my stool and found out it was a result of the hemorroids.

I have had that problem but before I became pregnant which still continues to this day. Mine is due to what is called Irritable Bowel Syndrome. There can be many causes. If you have pain in your abdomen then you need to talk to your doctor about it or if you go from regular, to constipated, to loose stools, that can also be a cause for concern. But if it is jus the mucus, not too much to be worried about.

This is most likely unpregnancy related and you REALLY need to talk to the doc about it. Could be anything from constipation to something you ate to a serious problem with your intestines or stomach or other food processing organs. Do a search at yahoo for mucous stool and you'll get lots of info. GOOD LUCK TO YA
