My Due Date S Here

and no signs of anything happening. Sigh. I'm feeling so frustrated today. I've been so tired, on edge, cranky, irritable and in SO much pain lately, and I've been having Braxton Hicks contractions like crazy. A couple of times I've had different, painful contractions that I thought were the real deal, but no such luck. I know that it won't be much longer - any day now, but time is just dragging on so slowly, and I can't even do anything to pass the time. I can barely move. Every minute seems like an hour. I'm SO anxious to have this baby - I can't wait to see him, and it seems like it will be forever until I do. I can't believe that in a few days I'll have a baby boy. It doesn't seem real. At this point I'm so focused on the pregnancy and wanting it over, that I barely think about the actual baby, as bad as that sounds. When I DO sit and think about him, I get SO excited. I'm sure he's going to be a whopper - he seems humungous to me. My daughter was 9 lbs., 5 oz. when she was born, and I'm convinced that this fella is going to be even more than that. She was born 10 days past her due date. I think I will go nuts if I have to wait another 10 days for this guy. Please wish me luck and patience. It's just a rough day right now. Thanks for letting me whine and ramble. :)

Nicole...I wish you luck and patience :) you're right..it won't be long now so hold onto that thought and relax as much as you can. Usually the first babies are late...don't worry too much about waiting that long again...he'll be here before you know it :)

Nicole hang in there (BABY you don't!!!), any moment now. I'm sure you have tried everything to self-induce but my doctor tells me to walk walk walk and do open feet squats if your knee joints can handle it! Good luck!

Nicole my heart goes out to you I told my doctor that I wasn't trying to go over my due date because if I do I will be p__sed. I get excited and fustrated all at the same time. Excited b/c I can't wait to meet my baby and fustrated b/c I get uncomfortable. Have you dilated, effaced and have the baby dropped any at all. Well Good luck, hope to hear some good news in a couple of days

Thanks, girls! I know it's going to be very soon, but the time is just draaaagging. The waiting and not knowing when it will be is unbearable. I have no idea how dilated/effaced I am. My doctor doesn't check that. I'm in Canada. I don't know if it's a Canadian thing, or just my particular doctor's way. He never checked me for dilation or effacement when I was pregnant with my first, either. Thanks again for the support!!
